BALTIMORE, Sept. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — RPS Solutions LLC, a firm that specializes in the development of affordable housing so that all can achieve the goal of homeownership, recently announced its partnership with the National Community Stabilization Trust (NCST) that will further its efforts to stabilize and revitalize Baltimore’s low- to moderate-income communities.

This partnership with NCST falls under the non-profit’s Strategic Development Partner program and is expected to ease the barrier of affordability for homebuyers while increasing the rate of homeownership. RPS Solutions and other local affordable housing and community development organizations have the opportunity through NCST’s First Lookacquisition program to obtain REO properties in their market areas before they are marketed more broadly.

Kevin Seawright founded RPS Solutions LLC in 2015 with a vision to tackle the affordable housing market and strengthen the community of Baltimore, MD. Seawright and his team work to help individuals achieve homeownership. The ultimate goal is for Baltimore residents to exceed the current city home-ownership rate.

NCST is a non-profit organization that works to rehabilitate vacant and abandoned properties throughout the United States. Its programs facilitate the restoration of homes, enable safe demolition when necessary and support creative and productive re-use of vacant land. Since 2009, NCST has conveyed more than 23,000 properties to non-profit home buyers across the U.S.
